In loving memory of little puppy Holly - a Soi Dog
Holly came to the Soi Dog Foundation with her litter mates and they all had a very bad tick infestation.
Ticks can leave bacteria behind in the blood which then fights the red blood cells. It is a very painful illness. Two of Holly's litter mates are still alive and recovering well.
Please help the Soi Dogs (street dogs) of Phuket and Thailand:
WSPA - World Society For The Protection Of Animals is running a campaign for the Soi Dogs of Phuket.
Each day they take in 5 Soi Dogs for neutering. They believe that if you neuter over 75% of the stray dog population then the number of puppies born begins to reduce. WSPA has almost reached this number in Phuket.
See what Leona Lewis has to say about WSPA and the work that they do.
Tammy - before
Tammy was very sick and bald with mange when taken in by the Soi Dog Foundation.
She was then looked after by her new human friends and although she has quite a few 'hang-ups' from living almost wild she is coming along fine.
